Our residential garden program was created in 2016 as part of our mission to increase local Metro Detroit residents' access to fresh organic-grown produce. Through this program, participants are educated on starting and managing their garden in their backyard. Our Peace Tree Parks staff carefully installs each raised garden bed to get each household started on its gardening journey.

Our residential garden program operates as a co-op with participants. Though garden beds are installed at no cost to participants, each participant is encouraged to donate to support funding for resources.
